Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree vs. Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio

Prophecy:The move that broke Kenzo's nose is called a 420, according to Taz, because there were 4 legs in the legdrop and the shoe sizes added together (12 for RVD + 8 for Rey) is 20. RVD is such a stoner. I love it. Anyway, the point of all this is that RVD and Mysterio now have a tandem move. Plus they were speaking Spanish together backstage and have good chemistry. They've tagged together before, but maybe this time they're going to stick it out for a while and give Kenzo and Dupree (an unlikely combination anyway) a break for some singles action. And now that they've already won the titles days before the PPV, I can't see them having their reign cut so short.

Prophecy:changed my mind again. this is a really tough one to call.

Prophecy:Well i take it back. I think the foreigners will win, now that rvd and 619 are champs.

Prophecy:They are having the EXACT same match from No Mercy, no gimmicks, no stipulations the EXACT same match. Oh well. Although I would rather see RVD turn heel and go for the WWE championship, I think he and Rey will win here.

Prophecy:I think RVD and Mysterio make a good team and will win the tag team titles .Plus if you have not heard Hardcore Holly and Rene Dupree had a fight backstage and the WWE punished Holly by making him lose to a jobber and now it is Rene's punishment to lose the tag team titles.

Prophecy:Kenzo and Renee have been tag champs long enough.

Prophecy:Mysterio and Van Dam humiliated the tag champs in the non-title match. In addition, Dupree and Suzuki cheated to retain the titles against RVD and Rey at 'No Mercy'. The tag champions will definately have more fight in them come 'Armageddon'. They may try to cheat to retain again, but this time I think that RVD and Mysterio will win the Tag Team Championships. Most likely via the 619, with a possible springboard, followed by a Five-Star Frogsplash. Dupree and Sukuki are not an established enough team to to hold the titles for very long, and should look for some single titles competition. My prediction goes to '619' and 'Mr. Thursday Night'.

Prophecy:My choice to win is RVD/Mysterio. Both have defeated the champs in both non title and in singles. With Rey Rey begging to not go back to the CW Division, and the US scene already packed, the Tag Titles fit perfectly. Van Dam needs some belt, even if he deserves the US, but this will also do well. Dupree is better suited in the US scene while Kenzo should take his "3 Step Wrestling" and burn in Velocity-Hell with Shannon Moore, Akio, Holly, and the Bashams. Here's to new and deserving Tag Team Champions- RVD & Rey Mysterio!

Prophecy:This would be the title change at the ppv.

Prophecy:First of all, Kenzo and Dupree shouldn't even be champions in the first place. They've never defended the belts, and bring NO credibility to them at all! RVD & Rey will take them here, and restore some cred. to these belts.

Prophecy:Obvious pick for 2 reasons. First, Dupree and Suzuki beat the challengers last time these teams met on PPV, and secondly, the WWE need a high flying tag team once again instead of one thats growing stale. USA chants are predictable and boring, thats what we hear everytime there's international champs. It's been a while since a face has held a title on Smackdown (apart from Cena) so let it be RVD/Mysterio. (Reminiscent of the high flying Hardys) Also how dumb was it to have them win the titles on the Smackdown before Armageddon...makes it all too obvious and predictable that they'll retain. Why didnt they just stick with Hiroko and Torrie Wilson in a bra/panties match?

Prophecy:Don't know why the belts switched hands on SD, but il keep my prediction the same nevertheless.

Prophecy:Kenzo and Rene suck as champs, and I can't see them holding onto the belts for much longer, considering what shitty chemistry they've got. The only scenario I could possibly see unfoldig that would allow them to retain is that RVD finally makes a heel turn, and feuds with Rey. However, I find this scenario to be highly unlikely.

Prophecy:5 Star with a 619 equals what the hell were they thinking?

Prophecy:when they tag up its great so they woudent give them a second title shot if there not gonna win 619 and five star frog splash

Prophecy:they've gotta win it this time! they're a great team that deserve the tag team gold!

Prophecy:THis match will go 2 RVD and Rey cause WWE had plans of bringing back Ultimo Dragon under the name 'asai' and this is the time when they get to split up Kenzo and Rene and bring together Asai and Kenzo. As for the storyline they are starting with Hiroko and Torrie, I think it is merely amusing.
