Edge vs. Batista

Prophecy:Edge took the title? What the hell is going on here? I couldn't believe they took the Money in the Bank from Kennedy but I guess they needed a way to get the strap to Edge. They can always give Kennedy a title shot regardless. Now the question is, "Why edge?" I suspect they're once again using him as a transitional champion. So who's on deck? Was this simply to allow Batista to win the title back without beating Taker? Maybe... but I suspect Edge will get at least one defense in before turning the belt over.

Prophecy:Rumors point to Batista winning the belt and Edge going back to RAW...I hope Edge retains but the Animal will get the belt back.

Prophecy:Edge "won" the Money in the Bank from Kennedy because Kennedy got injured and was supposed to be out of action for 6 months. Which wouldn't have mattered because Kennedy was going to cash it in at Wrestlemania. Now, I'm guessing that they didn't want to let the Money in the Bank go to waste, so they gave it to Edge, who was involved in a plot line with too many characters. So send him over to Smackdown. However, Kennedy will be back much sooner than anticipated, so this will give Edge a title run of about 3 months, after which he will either lose the title to Kennedy, or beat Kennedy and lose it to another wrestler.

Prophecy:Edge will win here by cheating or something.

Prophecy:As nice as it is to have some added spice to SmackDown!, the fact that Taker lost it the way he did or how he doesn't get a rematch is bullshit.

Prophecy:Edge just won the gold, he won't lose it here. To many potential fueds to be had with Kennedy and Rey. And the last thing we need is the talentless Batista boring us with another lacksture title reign. Mark Henry interfers to help Edge win.

Prophecy:this is how it will go...edge is on the smackdown roster and with kennedy out for awhile with an injury and mysterio still hurt and taker having surgery, smackdown needs edge...he is staying on smackdown and will have the title because they're finally going to have the batista vs mark henry feud that never happened because henry went down...mark henry will show up and screw batista, setting a feud and inevitable match at the next ppv between the 2 as edge will remain world heavyweight champion

Prophecy:I don't think he'll lose it just yet.

Prophecy:Edge to retain via pinfall after Edgecutioner, SMACKDOWN! lacked quality active heels, Edge, who is a top heel is what they needed, he deserves a decent run, I predict he will keep it until Wrestlemania 24, I see Mark Henry interfering in the match to cost Batista so that they can restart the feud the really never got underway.

Prophecy:They aren't going to do the same thing they did in January 06, Edge will win hands down. Now we just have to countdown the months until Taker's injury heals up.

Prophecy:Now that Edge is champ, I hope they do what they should've done last year and KEEP him as champ for a while, at least for a couple of months. When Kennedy comes back, I see him turning face, since there's way more heel prospects going at the moment than faces on both shows. Kennedy v Edge v Benoit once they add him to the title picture.

Prophecy:I don't think that Batista going over Edge will prove anything to the fans. He's done it before. Whereas...cheating or not...Edge coming away with the title will build the tension up a bit.

Prophecy:Too early to lose the tittle. For once a jump to a new show for edge is good
