Edge vs. Batista

Prophecy:SmackDown didn't get any legitimate contenders out of the draft. In fact, they lost one in Benoit. Still, something tells me Batista will not win the title back here. True, he is the only face on the active roster who has a shot; however, Mysterio is on his way back and after he gets his revenge on Chavo he'll take the belt from Edge amidst a power struggle with Vicki Guerrero. For now, I guess Edge will get a decent run, and Batista will move on to battle the big heels by himself. Plus, on the final SmackDown before the event, Batista got a decisive pin over Edge. As we all know, that almost always means things will go the other way at the PPV.

Prophecy:I think Smackdown have dug themselves into a hole. This'll be the last match between the two if Edge wins, and there's no-one to fill the No.1 Contender's spot. If Batista wins however, the feud can continue. I think it's getting a little stale though. Edge looks to have the title around his waist for a while longer, so i'll just go with him.

Prophecy:He'll have a long title reign with this title before dropping it to anyone.

Prophecy:We'll have to wait until the draft happens I guess. But until then Edge deserves a little more time in the lime light. Batista's last reign with the belt was very boring. First time he held it was awesome. He did almost nothing with it last time though.

Prophecy:The only reason Batista has been given another shot is because there is no one else they can build up to main event face status on Smackdown in time for the draft.

Prophecy:Oh come on. If SD doesn't get another main eventer in the draft I am goin gto be fucked off. Also why haven't they started to build Benoit up. He is way ahead in line in front of Batista for a world title run.

Prophecy:Hopefully the draft will sort things out here and Batista gets moved, preferably to ECW, instead of the flagship show. I see Edge retaining and feuding with a new contender, possibly Kane or a superstar who gets drafted. Hoping Benoit stays on Smackdown where he would hopefully get thrown into contention. We've "Cena Nuff" of Batista.

Prophecy:I think Batista would have won the title from Undertaker if there were plans to make him the Champion again. Besides, Edge deserves a longer reign.

Prophecy:ii really think edge isnt a good perosn to give a title to personally he nothing what has he done major batista at least is exciting in way haha this should be undertaker vs edge but ut injuried :(

Prophecy:I think Batista is more Hungryier than ever ; now that he's number 1 contender and all. and to top that off he was trained by THE GAME HHH/Evolution if he uses that Evolution's training Edge don't stand a chance . i'm in favor of saying Batista may finally win at WWE Vengeance/praying ; Edge is getting to lookin like a desperate beach-bum ;lol and Edge whine/cries alot also when the wwe brand managers don't let him get his own way ; PLZ someone give Edge a Baby bottle ; lol

Prophecy:I still agree with the tocc but most of the time of these do or die matchs the one person wins the title so for now i am with the animal but need to see the next draft on wesday to see what happings

Prophecy:I'm willing to bet HBK will be drafted to SmackDown, so that gives another credible challenger for the WHC. Edge wins again.
