Prophecies of The Tocc

Prophecy:It seems like everyone who jumps to ECW gets a run with the ECW title as part of the deal. By that reasoning, Hardy is due. On the other hand, Mark Henry only recently won the title for his jump so I can see him holding on for a while longer and riding out this "World's Strongest Champion" thing. It's possible the title change will happen at a later match in their feud, after Survivor Series, but the Worlds Strongest Slam at the end of ECW makes me think Hardy might just prevail at the PPV... Hmm...

Prophecy:HHH with another successful title defense. He'll win cleanly with a pedigree in the center of the ring. As far as this prediction is concerned, the hardest part is choosing between this match and Taker's match to be my lock. They're both pretty obvious IMHO.

Prophecy:Taker returns to get his revenge in his signature match. This hopefully causes a chain reaction ending with Edge getting some better writing. I don't know how much more I can stand of this Vickie and Alicia bullshit.

Prophecy:This one's tough. Unfortunately the build-up was rushed just because they needed something to headline Summerslam, which not only means the match won't be as big as it could have been but also that there isn't much to base a predition on. I don't expect this to turn into a feud because these face vs face encounters rarely do. Plus they probably wouldn't have dropped the tag titles so quickly if that had been the plan. I also don't see either of these guys feuding with CM Punk after this should he pull off an upset. Either one could challenge JBL. Orton is due to return, so perhaps he'll play a part in how this one unfolds. What this really comes down to is who the WWE feels is the face of Raw, and based on their respective histories I've gotta go with Cena.

Prophecy:The titles won't change hands here. It would cheapen the titles. Plus, Santino and Beth have a great storyline going and don't need belts to further their careers at the moment. Santino is the funniest thing on WWE programming right now. I look forward to his segments every week and this angle with Beth Phoenix never fails to leave me laughing. I just wish they'd dump the unibrow thing. It's stupid.

Prophecy:CM Punk can't even carry a main event. I don't think he's had a single one-on-one main event since winning the title. WWE needed to keep the winning statistics for Money in the Bank going and needed to move Edge's title to Raw, but now that Mr. Pepsi has filled those roles his moment in the sun is over. Unfortunately the guy picking up the pieces is the most annoying, boring, blabbermouthed braggart in the business, JBL - Jiggly Breasts Layfield.

Prophecy:What the fuck is MVP's problem? That was completely unprofessional to bring Jeff's real life tragedy into the ring and talk about his house burning down and his dog Jack dying inside. I'm sure he was told to call out Jeff for being reckless, but he had no business bringing that stuff up on national TV. Why do the Hardys real-life hardships always wind up in plot lines? Jeff will win here and get some revenge for getting screwed at Saturday Night's Main Event. And justly, while the match is in progress, MVP's house will burn down with his pet inside.
