Prophecies of HBK SHAWN MICHEALS

Prophecy:As throwaway matches go, this isn't a bad one, even if I feel sorry for Kofi for losing his Mania payday and his title. Arguably, this one's hard to call just because the match is essentially meaningless, but by the same token, nobody will really mind if the bad guys win.

Prophecy:I'm glad this is on the card, cause Daniel Bryan deserves it, no matter what anyone thinks or says about him. That said, Sheamus has won the last two encounters and I can see very little reason to have them hot shot the title back to Bryan. But I have to admit, just seeing Bryan on WrestleMania is enough to make me mark out. Plus, for some reason I don't see Sheamus going back to HHH.

Prophecy:We got a situation

Prophecy:I would love to have Cody take this match down and move on to the next level in WWE. That said, he's been so visibly dominant in the feud so far, I can see Rey sneaking out a win here and this feud going to a higher plane for Extreme Rules.

Prophecy:Randy Orton has gotten so much over on Punk during this feud that is was about time Punk came back in some way. This feud feels far from over, but at the same time I'm not sure. The leg injury will come into play, which is all I think Punk needs to win this. Still, if Orton brings A game, it won't matter, because this could be the best match on the card.

Prophecy:We enter the foregone conclusion portion of the night, as Lawler winning is such a lock, if I had a giant lock to show you and call it my "lock of the week", I would do so. Anyway, this one is all about the spectacle rather than the wrestling, and hopefully it gives us at least a week (if not more, fingers crossed) of Cole-free commentary. No, WWE, you can't just have him revert to type and hope we'll forget, and if he keeps doing his heel shtick, I'm going to be forced to kill him. So not joking.

Prophecy:Speaking of foregone conclusions, guess what happens here. The promo from last Monday was good, but I can't help but feel that it should have happened about three or four weeks ago, so we could have a couple weeks of "Triple H's confidence is shaken because his buddy isn't sure he can win" drama. But then, in that scenario somebody in this feud might have had to wrestle a match or two, and apparently that isn't in the cards. I also maintain that they chose the wrong Johnny Cash song for Undertaker, since "When The Man Comes Around" is right there. Also, is nobody worried that we're hoping for a MOTYC out of two guys coming off of major surgeries who haven't wrestled in months? Sure, they're excellent workers, and things should work out, but still?I have concerns.

Prophecy:There's a million reasons why Del Rio should win this and probably just as many why Edge doesn't need to retain. Putting Christian in Edge's corner, ostensibly to counter Brodus Clay, definitely muddies the waters, because Christian has shown that he, at least, can beat Del Rio, but I still think the end result remains the same. Will Christian turn, and/or will we just have a three-way at Extreme Rules? Only time will tell.

Prophecy:The Miz needs the win. It's the best decision for the company, because another John Cena world title win at WrestleMania does little besides provide one feel good moment. A Miz win ensures that he's a main event heel from this point on. He's probably there already, but why not cement that fact? While I love the Rock, his involvement in this match is a detraction. I'd rather this was just straight one-on-one. But, hey, you can't always get you want and I can't think of anyone better to be thrown in.
