Prophecies of HBK SHAWN MICHEALS

Prophecy:Man, I hope WWE knows what they're losing here, because Punk's promo from three weeks ago may well have been the "Austin 3:16" of his career. Only two ways to go here, Punk wins and loses to the MITB winner, or Cena squishes Punk and moves on because he's SuperCena and that's what he does. I mean there are other options, but WWE doesn't have the balls to let Punk walk out of Chicago with the WWE belt "without a contract", and we all know it. I fully expect these two guys to let it all hang out, because they have to live up to a lot of hype. Punk's not leaving the building with the belt, but I bet he's getting the win here so that he can get revenge on the MITB winner later.

Prophecy:Well, they keep running this out there, you'd think at some point they'd give Christian the title again. I can't imagine this goes into SummerSlam without a title change, and I don't really see any better opponents for Orton. I suspect next month is a Sheamus-Orton-Christian three-way for the title, and you know Sheamus is still lurking around and he probably thinks it'll be easier to beat Christian than Orton, so let's give Christian his second World title reign here via DQ.

Prophecy:You know, if you were just going to have your new "top" heels just copy LayCool's act, maybe you shouldn't have broken up LayCool. I know, McCool was retiring, but this is more a condemnation of their inability to make interesting Diva characters. And that's about as much thought as I plan to put into this match.

Prophecy:This is an interesting eight people, since five of them are totally reasonable winners. The ones that aren't: Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, and Alex Riley. The reason is simple. Whoever wins needs to be able to step right in and take the title either tonight or tomorrow and none of those three I see it happening with. Kofi I almost put in that group, only because he has been stuck dealing with Dolph the past few weeks. Mysterio is credible, but it won't happen. That leaves the three heels of Del Rio, The Miz, and R-Truth. The Miz has been there and done that, so I don't see him doing it again. I would like R-Truth to win, but he doesn't need it. In the end, Del Rio is the most logical pick, given that he won a #1 contender's match before and seems like the next guy in line for Cena to destroy.

Prophecy:The match might be good, but the lineup is weak. Basically, only Sheamus is currently a guy that I would see as a choice to win the World title. However, if Raw is going to cash theirs in at the PPV (and I think that's the consensus choice), you have time to let the Smackdown MITB winner hold on for a while. To me, that opens up the possibilities of Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, and maybe Daniel Bryan. I think I'm going to give it to the guy who has a lackey suitable for distraction and sacrifice.

Prophecy:Mark Henry has been lampooned for years since his 10 year contract with the fed and subsequent renewal. He's been pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed and never really got far other than a comedy angle with Mae Young , enforcer in The Nation, and an ugly RR match with Kurt Angle. However, he's really embraced his heel role well this time even cutting very good promos and also smart booking has made it interesting. I loved him attacking the stage hand on Smackdown a week ago. Big Show has been attacked and rendered moot his last couple of feuds with ADR and now Henry. It doesn't seem like they have much direction for him so hopefully they aren't done with Henry's heel push yet.
