Prophecies of President D

Prophecy:Have to go with the Rumble winner. This feud has had its ups and downs, but I still think they'll deliver here. Personally I think it is a bad look to have the Rumble winner consistently lose the title match at Mania (the last time a Rumble winner went on to Mania to win the title was at 29 with the Twice in a Lifetime with Rock and Cena). Hopefully the feud continues after this match.

Prophecy:I really want to pick Goldberg. Reason being that we've seen Lesnar as a part time champion, and to me it just sucked. Goldberg retaining creates a scenario where he can retire the next night and a new tournament be set to crown the next champ. This will probably be the main event, though I am hoping Orton/Wyatt is given the slot (seeing that the Rumble winner gets a "Main Event" match).

Prophecy:Something tells me the eliminations go as follows: Nia eliminated first (by a combined effort of the other three), then Bayley (after being turned on by Sasha), which then leads to Sasha defeating Charlotte for the title. Bayley has been made to look very weak as a champion and seeing her chase Sasha for the title could lead to some great storyline.

Prophecy:Shame to see this match relegated to the kick-off show (though I will say this makes me more invested in watching the kickoff show now). Coin flip at the moment, so I'll go with Neville retaining.

Prophecy:After Dean carrying Smackdown along with Styles ever since the brand split, he should be rewarded with a win at Mania (in addition to the severe downgrade from a year ago- feuding with Lesnar to IC Title? C'mon WWE). That being said they want to make the new stars look strong so I could see Corbin winning. For now, I'll stick with Ambrose. He hasn't gotten much revenge for Corbin's relentless beatdowns.

Prophecy:My reasoning for the pick is due to this being for the US Title. I think it would be a waste for a former Universal Champion (who still is owed a rematch) to be downgraded to a lower championship. Plus, even though Jericho did cost Owens the title, I still see his revenge being great enough to have earned a win against KO here. Look for interference from possibly Joe or Balor to show up.

Prophecy:They have been building these 2 up now for a year ever since their debut the night after Mania 32. It's time for them to win some gold. The ladder stipulation makes me much more excited for this one.

Prophecy:Almost a lock I would think on this one.

Prophecy:Steps to make the fans get behind Reigns. 1. Turn Reigns heel. 2. Continuously repeat step 1. Kidding aside, this could be a great match, and possibly a loss to Taker could be what puts Reigns over the edge and leads to the full turn. I truly hope this is not the end of the line for the Undertaker. There are much better options and much more quality opponents to have that honor.

Prophecy:I agree with most on this. Shane knows how great AJ is with the fans (even as a heel) and for the company's future, so I highly doubt him pinning Styles here. I actually am looking forward to this match, given Shane's history he will be more than determined to give us something to talk about.

Prophecy:Rollins all the way. Probably the match I am looking most forward to, and it should be a straight up brawl. Rollins has the greatest amount of retribution to bring out of all the nights competitors and this should be fantastic. The storyline with Trips possible new group (KO, Joe, others) will probably arise out of the result of this match the following night on RAW.

Prophecy:The way Cena absolutely buried the Miz on Smackdown before Mania makes me question this pick. But at the end of the day, if this is Nikki's last match, then they probably will reward her by going out on top. John boy puts a ring on it to attempt to create the most romantic Mania moment since Savage and Elizabeth reunited.
