Prophecies of Y2J03

Prophecy:Right from the get-go I've said that Kurt Angle would put John Cena over at WM21, just as he did for Brock Lesnar at WM19. Obviously Orton will win the rumble, and face HHH, so Cena will win a No. 1 contendership match, maybe at No Way Out. I can't see Vince entrusting JBL for a part of his WM main event, as he is unable to put on a good match, whereas Angle is always capable of putting guys over, and putting on terrific matches (ex, Royal Rumble 2003 vs Benoit, arguably one of the best matches in WWE/F history, WM19 vs Lesnar, WM20 vs Eddie, SummerSlam vs Eddie, etc). Big Show is pretty much a write-off. He was champ back in '02, and that title reign was unbearable. Jeez you know SmackDown! is brutal when the show is centred around a faceless loser from the diva contest, Joy. The show has been revolving around her in recent weeks, but has she touched a mic yet?

Prophecy:I'm gonna go with the Kane vs Snitsky type of mentality here: for the feud to actually be a feud, there has to be some competition, as Heidenreich can't get squashed every time he faces Taker.

Prophecy:This is an easy one. They've been teasing Batista vs. HHH for 3 months now, ever since they finally realized Orton wasn't getting over as a face. Cena is the only other possibility, but I really don't think he'd be ready to main event at WM21. Jeez, a year ago, hell even 6 months ago did anyone ever think that it would be Batista who is going to be main-eventing at WM21? I guess we'll find out if Big Dave is able to carry a 30 min. main-event match with HHH. I think it'll be interesting to see how he does.

Prophecy:I have a feelin that Vince has changed his mind and will put Batista against Hunter at WM, instead of the original plan to have Orton vs Hunter. I don't think they'd do triple-threat 2 years in a row, and Cena is definately not ready to main-event. With Orton out of the rumble, that opens it up for either Big Dave or Cena to win. However, I can't envision a scenario where trips doesn't walk into WM the champ. Poor Orton. They have built Batista up PERFECTLY for his long-awaited face-turn, and he will be cemented as a face. Orton, however, was screwed up, and his position as a face is not nearly cemented yet. Likely Batista wins the rumble, and increases the tension for the title by NOT switching brands, against the advice of Flair and HHH, and deciding to challenge HHH.

Prophecy:I get the feeling that this feud should blow-over to WM, which means the face usually wins the opener. Besides, neither guy seems to be teased to feud against anyone else right now. Pretty funny watching HBK getting booed out of the building tonite. Gotta love the "You Screwed Bret" chants! I'm proud to say I helped contribute to the booing at the ACC! I love how every time HBK comes to Canada he is a heel that nite (besides the booing, he also carries himself in a heel type of swagger). Too bad Cpt. Charisma didn't beat him, but TO's own hometown boy, Edge laid one hell of a beating on him to the delight of the crowd. Besides, what incentive would Edge have to continue to feud if he wins here? TURN HBK HEEL!!! To all you whiners telling us Cdns to "stop whining" and "forget about it", it only happened 7 years ago! Jeez before they won the WS, Sox fans were bitching at Buckner's error for almost 20 years, and for even longer about the Babe! Besides it's pretty funny booing HBK.
