Prophecies of CeffectX

Prophecy:With all the build-up for Batista's huge turn, only a fool wouldn't pick him. However, it's not so easy for some reason to say Batista with confidence. I mean, think about it, he rose so quickly into the spotlight, he could dissapear faster. The only two three singles feuds I can recall in the last 2 1/2 years are Batista v. Kane ; Batista v. Shawn Michaels, and most recently Batista v. Chris Jericho....now he's only in his fourth singles feud (please correct me if i'm wrong) and he's in the main event of Wrestlemania?? Don't get me wrong, it will be a good match and Dave is so over with the fans it's crazy, but it puzzles me how quickly he made his way into the main event scene. That's modern day WWE for you. I still pick Batista.

Prophecy:Just like the other eleventy billion people have already and will state, we need heel victories and Angle's PPV record has some blotches. Michaels hopefully will do the job to Angle and give the huge victory to the man who has more time left in his career. If Angle loses, I just don't see where he would go after losing three straight PPV's, that qualifies him to Velocity-ville.

Prophecy:Let's set the record straight, JBL has been entertaining, JBL has stepped up his game tremendously, JBL...however....should never have been the WWE champion. Ever since June, I have never bought into the the fact that the man who was pinned by Scotty 2 Hotty one week before turning into JBL could be a serious contender for ANY singles title. I've used this reference ten million times. It's from when Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi def. APA in their last match together because Farrooq was fired by Paul Heyman. Ok, anyways....even though this match probably will not be the main event (and the pre-main event title match has not changed hands since the brand-split)...I feel that trend might die this year because they need to capitalize on Cena's waning popularity (face it, he's not as "hot" as he was when he first turned face.) That's my story for now.

Prophecy:It will be a long time before Benoit sees any gold again....if ever. Jericho has been reduced to mid-card wonderland and will not likely exit. Shelton is a longshot, but he's nowhere near over enough or ready enough to challenge for title and win. Kane....well I can't quite remember the last ladder match he participated in, but i'm pretty sure he will not be walking away with any kind of title shot, even though with all the things he has done for the company, it couldn't hurt to give him a nice title run. My debateable two are Edge & Christian. Given the proper push, Christian could feud with Edge one more time over the biggest prize of them all, the world title. It's just that Christian needs to quit jobbing in order for that to happen. When's the last time he's won a match on RAW since his big return??? Anyway, for now, Christian is my pick.

Prophecy:Christy Hemme should not even be within 5,000 miles of a Wrestlemania card. I know it's like beating a dead horse, but why does this floozy get a title shot and proven wrestlers like Gail Kim, Nidia, and Jazz are let go? You can't blame it on the fact that they weren't over because they were never given anything to work with, you can't go out of the realm of what the writers provide i'm sure. Trish should retain in a quick and painless match. This is the token Hardcore Holly vs. Brock Lesnar match for the card and in tonight's performance, Christy Hemme will be playing the role of Hardcore Holly.

Prophecy:Who's the face? Who's Akebono? Where's the heat? Anyone care? What's a sumo match anyway? Is this a feud? The answers to these anti-climatic questions will be answered at Wrestlemania 21........and my WM meal will be a cold Chick-fil-a nugget tray (it's free since I work there)

Prophecy:The Undertaker may be nearing retirement, but he's not going to drop his undefeated streak to a still relatively-fresh Orton. He's just a kid in Calloway's eyes, besides, the WWE needs a gimmick such as Undertaker's WM streak for future use in case he retires and works special matches.

Prophecy:Eddie has jobbed to Rey countless times already, except for right after he became WWE champion in Feb. 04' when he defeated Rey on Smackdown! in the finals of the "gauntlet" (Thank you! Paul Heyman) Eddie needs a victory at Wrestlemania. However, I don't feel now is the time to turn him heel when he still can bring a crowd to their feet quicker than anyone else on the Smackdown roster, that would be as stupid as Booker T's heel turn and Randy Orton's face turn ended up.
