Prophecies of JuviFan

Prophecy:I know Johnny Ace (WWE General Manager) had a hand in brokering this match, and that it has something to do with Japanese Mixed Martial Arts promotion K-1 (which has real kick boxing or MMA matches but sometimes does fake promotional stunts or "angles" to help hype their matches, sort of like boxing), which is where Akebono is spending most of his time now as he is retired from sumo. Johnny Ace spent most of his wrestling career in Japan btw. Anyway, I think they have booked themselves into a corner here, but I don't think Akebono would come in here just to lose, like Tocc says, even if he is coming off a win in K-1 from a few weeks ago. I am expecting the Big Show to lose, possibly with outside interference, maybe even from Kenzo who has been strangely absent lately. Yeah, Akebono is American (and ethnically Hawaiian), and not actually Japanese, but its not like most WWE fans will really differentiate that part.

Prophecy:If JBL won he'd be officially out of credible babyface challengers, not that guarantees a win but thats something to consider. All that'd be left would be RVD, who is injured, and Mysterio, who is not yet credible enough to hold the WWE Title.

Prophecy:I am changing my answer again. This is easily the hardest match to predict, but I am going to go with Shelton Benjamin. The WWE seems to be high on him and wants to push him hard, and other than Edge, he stands the most to benefit from a win here. Edge I imagine will not win as management is a bit pissed off at him having a real life affair with Lita.

Prophecy:Randy is being blamed for both Amy Weber and Rochelle Loewen quitting the company, and needs shoulder surgery. He has a ton of heat on him from management, and he no longer has HHH as an ally backstage. He is also decidedly below the UT on the totem pole right now. The UT is old, and will probably have to pass the torch to someone eventually, but not yet, and Orton is not that person. Right now, Orton is toast.

Prophecy:God dammit. Unfortunately, if Trish beats Christy Hemme, she will be out of people to feud with at the moment. Melina Perez is hugely over in OVW, but thats not a guarantee that she'll be over in the WWE, nor will their other developmental darling Alexis Laree. Victoria is pretty heatless these days. Lita is still injured indefinitely. Molly would have a hard time getting back over as a face after getting marketed as being a moralist with a big ass for so long. Gail, Jazz, Nidia, and Jacqueline are all gone. Ivory could be brought in, but she is not a strong enough face to hold up her end of a feud for more than a few weeks (and even then only if she isn't on the mic and the camera stays far away from her face). I hate to say it, but Christy will probably beat Trish, because then Trish could always seek revenge, but if Trish won, that'd probably be the end of that feud, and then there'd be noone left for Trish to feud with.

Prophecy:I think the idea is that Eddie will ultimately turn heel, either at Wrestlemania or right afterwords. Losing to Rey would make this easier, as he'd be doing it out of frustration, where if he just cheated to beat Rey, it'd be risking just getting him a pop from the crowd instead of the desired heel heat, as cheating is part of his "wrestling style." Also Eddie and Rey are very good friends in real life, and thus I imagine Eddie'd have no problem putting Rey over. I think the idea is that Eddie will be bringing in Psicosis and possibly Juventud Guerrera and Super Crazy (Super Crazy is probably coming in no matter what but may or may not be a part of this angle), and use them against Rey, in sort of a rehash of the LWO angle. Damn, I wish they'd get La Parka too, he is the man.
