Prophecies of The Tocc

Prophecy:Just as I've been saying since the Great American Bash, Mysterio will take the title from Khali. But when? The fact that this match was changed to a triple threat really threw me. It waters down the impact of the David vs. Goliath theme, which was either a mistake or it means Rey won't win here. I just don't see an inarticulate monster holding the belt for very long. Plus, if Khali wins this 2-on-1 feud will continue, which shouldn't happen. Mysterio wins with a roll-up. Khali will continue his feud with Batista, leaving Rey to defend against someone else... most likely Finlay. Batista's role here will be to save Rey from the angry, beaten Khali, chasing him from the ring so they can celebrate.

Prophecy:Cena has revenge for his father on his side. Plus, with Orton's name being listed as part of the illegal pharmacy scandal, it's unlikely he'll get the belt here. They've taken belts from Umaga and Nitro for that reason. The only way Orton wins this match is if Cena's emotions get the better of him and he gets himself disqualified.

Prophecy:Return matches are always the easiest to call.

Prophecy:My first instinct is to say that Candice's reign should continue for at least a little while. But with the way they pass the women's title around, you never know what's going to happen. Beth has been getting a big push, and Candice hasn't had much TV time. I'm going with the glamazon.

Prophecy:I see history repeating itself. Cade and Murdoch pulled the same stunt with the Hardys. Despite their honorable front, they will cheat to win this one and the feud will continue.

Prophecy:We've all seen this before. In fact it happened recently with Cena and HBK, albeit a bit more amicably. Some unlikely team gets the belts to build tension between them. It always leads to a very short title reign, usually no longer than a couple of months. The question is whether there has been enough time for Hardy and MVP to get the most build-up out of this situation. I think they'll hold for another month or so. Plus I hate the greaser characters.

Prophecy:There was a time when the rule of thumb was "when in doubt, go with HHH". I think those days are back. When HHH gets pushed, he gets pushed hard. I don't think he'll be losing any matches anytime soon.

Prophecy:Even though he only won the title last week because Nitro was named in the steroid scandal, I don't think they're using him as a transitional champion. He'll hold the title for longer than a couple of weeks for sure.
