Prophecies of The Tocc

Prophecy:I know Batista just got the belt, but it's tough to go against Cena. Even tougher to go against the top face in the company at Mania. Plus, Raw has no champion right now. And with Batista, Jericho, and Edge all on SmackDown, Cena is Raw's only hope of getting a belt back.

Prophecy:It's on as expected. Jericho makes a good transitional champion... But with every additional spear I'm starting to doubt this pick more and more. This feud has been so one-sided in Edge's favor. There's no question in my mind that Edge will take the title from Jericho. I'm just starting to wonder if it will be delayed until Backlash.

Prophecy:Sorry, HBK. You've had a great run. If it's anything like their last meeting, it will be an awesome match, but Taker's streak will never be broken.

Prophecy:I'd like to see Shelton take this one, but he's always overlooked. Christian and Kofi are strong picks who are over enough to challenge for a title, but with Cena and Edge on the verge of taking the belts, one of the three heels should win to setup a future feud. Of all their storylines, McIntyre's is the one that is really leading up to a victory here. The way McIntyre was added to this match with three chances and two losses expunged from the record makes me think he'll take it. Plus, how long can the announcers drone on about Vince McMahon tapping Drew as a future world champion before he actually fulfills the prophecy? They'll give the young guy a short run with the belt (just like they did with Sheamus) within the year.

Prophecy:Looks like one of my potential outcomes has already come true. "He could take off the cast and tell Vinnie Mac that he faked it and baited him into the match, and proceed to destroy him." Since now this is no holds barred, Batista or anyone else can interfere on Vince's behalf, but Bret has taken way too much abuse since resurfacing not to emerge victorious here. This will end with Vince in a sharpshooter for sure. I'm also still thinking HBK will make an appearance in this one...

Prophecy:I can hardly believe that HHH would forgo a main event slot and possibly another title match just get his young, alabaster training partner into a match at WrestleMania. That being said, I can't see him jobbing too. Not at Mania. This feud will last a while and Sheamus will get a few moments of glory here and there, but this match is going HHH's way.

Prophecy:Orton's got to be the favorite here. The question is whether WWE will put over new talent. I think Orton takes this one. Maybe Rhodes will turn on DiBiase. That feud has to start eventually.

Prophecy:It would be stupid to have Rey join Straight Edge. They can't even shave his head. It's already mostly shaven, and his mask is in the way. If it were someone else, someone with longer hair that needs a character change (like Punk's NXT rookie Burnt Cena), then maybe. But not Rey. BTW, CM Punk's new "evil Jesus" persona is pretty lame. With his shabby little cult he reminds me of Steven Richards, except with a scraggly beard and gay tattoos.

Prophecy:Sucks that Morrison didn't get a spot in a better match than this. Way to fill out the card... It seems like Morrison & Truth were stuck here because there wasn't another match in mind for them. Too bad it takes a slot away from a real tag team like Cryme Tyme. If this match were mistakenly skipped, nobody would even notice. And while I'm ranting, if the production team insists on combining the music of every two superstars they throw together randomly, they need to get Big Show some new music or stop teaming him up with people. His music just doesn't mix well with anyone else's.

Prophecy:Nice to see so much thought and preparation put into the only women's match on the card... At least the divas get to perform. Vickie is the weak link and will be pinned by Beth, who is getting the biggest push right now.
