Prophecies of The Tocc

Prophecy:Someone has to beat Cena, and with Orton's recent push and HHH coming back, Orton is a likely candidate. Incidentally, he's been a candidate for years but he keeps screwing things up for himself backstage. However, he's been way too dominant over Cena going into this event. That and Cena's streak lead me to believe that Cena will retain this time, and the feud will continue.

Prophecy:If Batista was slated to win the title back, why was he taken completely out of the hunt before Edge's injury? They probably wanted to allow Edge some time with the belt but they also probably wanted Batista to spend some time without it. That being said, Khali is not a long term champion. Champions need to be intelligible, and there's no way even people in India can possibly understand his ass. So who is going to be the one to take the title? I say Rey.

Prophecy:Rey will not lose his big return match. No way no how. It will be interesting to see what they do with Vicky Guerrero. You know she wasn't brought in there for no reason, unless that whole "shady" plotline with her and Chavo was scrapped...

Prophecy:Will Nitro have had the belt long enough to cement himself as a main eventer by the time Summerslam rolls around? Tough call. It just seems like C.M. Punk is destined to take the title from him here. Their feud is not new and this is a major PPV, where title changes are likely. Add to that Nitro's pinfall victory over Punk in the last ECW before the event and it looks like CM will have his day at SummerSlam.

Prophecy:Easiest call of the night.

Prophecy:This one could go to any one of these guys. I see Umaga as a transitional champion. He's done it before with the IC Title. Kennedy will have his hands full with Lashley when he comes back, so I don't see him with anything less than a World title. I'm going with Carlito for now. He makes a good champion.

Prophecy:I was going to go with Michelle McCool here, but then I remembered that Candice is a Raw diva. So unless they're planning on using this match to move the title or a diva to another brand, another Raw diva should win. That leaves Beth, Jillian, Maria, Melina, Mickie, and Queen Sharmell. Melina and Mickie just had the title. Jillian and Sharmell have no chance. That just leaves Maria and Beth. At first I thought Beth was too new to the scene, but since Maria already has a plotline with Santino, I guess I'll go with Beth.

Prophecy:Nothing like a feud over a misunderstanding... I'm guessing Kane will win here, just because he's more over.
