Prophecies of The Tocc

Prophecy:With Orton, a DQ is not out of the question, but he won't drop the belt here. Orton's last title reign was a short one, but I don't see WWE making the same mistake this time. He's one of the few young guys who puts together good matches and heated rivalries. Y2J will probably be champ again at some point, but it won't happen here. Two faces are battling for the next title shot at Royal Rumble which means the heel will retain.

Prophecy:It's nice to see Jeff Hardy stepping up to have matches with top guys. His mic skills, like his brother's, still need a little work, but he's an awesome competitor and he deserves big matches. A win here will help catapult him into top card status, but will HHH actually lose? I want to pick Jeff, but I can't seem to click the "I Have Spoken" button without selecting Triple H. My finger just won't move.

Prophecy:Neither one of these guys is going to have a title shot in the near future. HBK just had his, and heel vs heel does not happen very often so Kennedy's out too. This match is simply to kick off a rivalry between these two that will last for a while and wind up putting Kennedy over. I say Kennedy cheats to steal this one, causing HBK to ask for the first rematch to get the ball rolling.

Prophecy:This is another tough one to call. Hornswaggle and the shillelagh will both definitely make an appearance, but will that be enough? And can it be done without getting disqualified? It's anybody's guess, but I'll go with the feel-good victory for the Irish.

Prophecy:Mickie is definitely the #1 face in the Women's division these days, especially since Candice got injured. I can see this rivalry stretching out for a while, with Mickie getting the title back eventually. For now, Beth retains and her dominant reputation builds.

Prophecy:Taker obviously isn't due for a title run or he would have taken the belt from Batista during their feud. I originally thought it was too early for Edge to grab the title, but many of you have changed my mind and this last Smackdown confirmed it. The stage has been set for Edge to pin Taker and win the title. He never lost the belt in the first place, and these triple threat title matches are typically used to get the belt off of the champion without him having to lose. For even more justification, Batista and Taker but especially Taker, were softened up in their matches on Smackdown. Batista has had dominant title defense after dominant title defense lately so he won't lose face when he drops the belt. I see Taker getting Batista bombed and Edge picking up the scraps. This will be the only title change of the night.

Prophecy:What would Rey do with the US Championship? Is he officially back to mid card status now? There's a good chance for a DQ, but I think MVP steals one.
