Wade Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Curtis Axel

Prophecy:Even though he's a last minute replacement for Fandango, if they want to keep Curtis Axel's undefeated streak going and give him some added clout he'll walk away with the belt. Incidentally, why does Joe Hennig have such a hard time with the fact that he's a 3rd generation superstar? Just call yourself Joe Hennig and do your own thing. All this name changing to honor his mom, his dad, his grandfather, and whoever else is just dumb. The guys who create their own identity (Orton, Rock, Cody) endure. The ones who bite off their parents' gimmicks and moves (Tamina, DiBiase, Natalya) not so much...

Prophecy:A few months ago this guy was jobbing to people on Saturday Morning Slam and his whole gimmick was cluelessly running the ropes for 10 minutes after his opponent had slid out of the ring. Now, because he has Paul Heyman and a ridiculous new name, he's going to start winning singles titles? This is another example of WWE assuming we all have the memory of a goldfish. Axel wins Intercontinental gold.

Prophecy:Fandango out, Curtis gets his break. That's destiny.

Prophecy:I know this guy deserves a push, but they're pushing him too much. In addition, it makes this match look unnatural and predictable.

Prophecy:See Tocc. If I'm wrong, I hope Barrett retains by Paul Heyman screwing Curtis Axel over by helping Barrett out and then Barrett becomes Paul Heyman's new client.

Prophecy:They're strapping a rocket to Axel's back.

Prophecy:Barrett never does anything with the title Miz is above the title, I'm pretty sure Fandango was going to win this but I guess this is a "perfect" opportunity for Curtis.

Prophecy:Barrett retains. I think the original plan was to give the title to Fandango. Don't see a stand-in getting it. Besides it seems like Axel's busy doing anything else than to run around with the belt right now. Miz takes the fall, protecting Axel. I'm taking a huge risk with this prediction. To Tocc: I think it's up to WWE what he's called. He originally ran with the name Joe Hennig but it got changed, probably not by him.

Prophecy:He's getting a HUGE push. By 1 year he'll probably be World Champion or WWE Champion, possiblt even both.

Prophecy:This may be too soon so I don't know.

Prophecy:Nothing is happening with either Wade or Miz so theres no point in one of them winning, this match was always intended to have Wade drop the belt to someone other than The Miz otherwise there would have just left it as a singles match between the two after Fandango was taken out

Prophecy:The barrage continues. Axel won't be involved in the decision. He's above the IC title.

Prophecy:When did Barrett last score a pinfall victory? It seems that champions these days are always booked to lose. One easy way for Hennig to avoid taking his first loss is for him to be the one not to be pinned in this match. I'll say Barrett retains after pinning MIz - it's surely nowhere near Axel's time yet to be a champion. He was jobbing for weeks on end as Michael Migillicutty only a few short months ago.

Prophecy:Still hate the Miz.

Prophecy:He's the only one of the three getting a consistent push and I'm pretty sure Fanny was going to win the title here had he not been injured.
