The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Prophecy:A lofty name for a catch-all match for all the mid-card talent with no storylines. It's basically the Royal Rumble if you took away the title shot and all the main event players. It seems like they'll all start in the ring together though. As MCM0530 and others have speculated, Big Show is the favorite for sure. WWE TV has confirmed that by repeating it incessantly... to the point that it seems like a swerve is coming. There are 3-4 slots still open (depending on whether Christian can compete). With possibilities like Rusev, RVD, Jericho, Punk, Sting, and Hulk Hogan himself, I'm flip-flopping between Show and "a last minute entry" FTW.

Prophecy:Whoever wins this will probably get a decent push going forward, and I have to believe it will be a bigger guy since its the first "Andre the Giant" battle royal. It would be cool to see Big Show win (WCW booked Big Show, a.k.a. "The Giant" as Andre's son back in 1995). Other announced possibilities are Miz, Sheamus, and Big E. There are 3 spots that remain a mystery so look for some surprise entrants. I have heard a number of names including Alexander Rusev, RVD, Jericho, Warrior, Jake the Snake, Sting, and even The Hulkster entering and winning the trophy. If WWE does this right, the Battle Royal has the potential to be pretty good. I am going to stick with Big Show and move on, because my head is literally exploding with the possibilities for this one.

Prophecy:Big show should wins this and through out his career he was always compare to Andre the Giant this would be a great wrestlemaina moment for him that he has not got yet so he my finally pick

Prophecy:No idea who all the contestants will be yet. Would make sense for Big Show to win a match dedicated to the ultimate big man.

Prophecy:Big Show is the only other logical answer here that could win - but I feel like a surprise entrant will take it

Prophecy:I agree with several who have predicted a Big Show win. How appropriate and how awesome would that be? Neat concept and a great idea for the match. Hopefully we will see Hogan involved here.

Prophecy:Reasons why I choose Big Show: A) to go with the majority. B) Big Show only has one Wrestlemania moment. This should be another one for him. C) What is better to have a giant win in another great Giant's memorial battle? I was thinking of Ziggler or Big E for this match can be a great leverage for the talents' careers, but the key words are "can be".

Prophecy:Going with The Big Show eventhough that would be too predictable. He deserves the recognition. Alex Rusev winning as a last minute entry would make sense too but so far nothing points to that happening.

Prophecy:For those who don't know the storyline in WCW was that Big Show, who was then wrestling as The Giant, was the son of Andre the Giant. So yeah, that's something to think about.

Prophecy:It's a nice tribute to the greatest big man of all time.

Prophecy:Seems to be on the biggest role other than Show

Prophecy:He's finally, getting a bit of tv time, he's the superstar who wants it the most, he's the superstar who'd benifit from the bragging rights of the trophy, he's unbeaten at Wrestlemania (not counting dark matches) and he's the Miz and he's Awesome!!! This of course changes if Rusev is in the match which is looking very likely. Sorry Miz.

Prophecy:He's gotta be the odds on favourite, for sure.

Prophecy:Having the Miz win would be stupid. Dolph ain't winning this. Big E has some chances but the IC title AND this victory is an overpush. Big Show's winning this on for Andre. I'll change my mind only if RVD or some surprise entrant shows up.

Prophecy:Alexander Rusev

Prophecy:I'd say Big Show, Big E and Dolph Zigger are the only likely candidates to win this one, with Sheamus/Mark Henry being long shots. Apart from the historical significance of this match being about Andre, and fair enough too, this is one of those matches that was put together with little fanfare and probably won't mean much in the end aside from a way to shove all the midcarders on the show. Big E really should be defending his IC title.

Prophecy:Alexander Rusev?

Prophecy:This seems like the most pointless match ever, the prize isnt even that great and will probably be forgotten about in a months or so time. Therefore I think someone up and coming will win it someone who has no WWE achieves so that winning this is a legit thing to brag about ... who that is though I have no idea!

Prophecy:Hulk Hogan may enter at the last minute and win because he says that none of the superstars need it.

Prophecy:week in and week out they are indicating that Big show will take this match but I don't think that is the case, the last minute entry is going to win
