Randy Orton vs. Edge

Prophecy:They are putting off Edge's heel turn I guess... Remember before Edge's 2003 injury, he was supposed to come back as a serious contender for the Heavyweight championship. What happened? I don't think Randy will hold the record for longest IC champ, but he won't drop it to Edge. I like how they are keeping the midcard belt on one person and not whoring it out to people on Sunday Night Heat and so forth...Go Orton!

Prophecy:Tocc makes a great point. Titles change a lot more often now then they did 15 years ago, but I still believe they will keep the IC title on Orton for a bit longer. There is still something that tells me that Randy Orton will beat Honkytonk Man's record.

Prophecy:Meh this could go either way, depending on if tthey want to push Edge for the WHT or Orton. IMO they should've had Benjamin win it back at Bad Blood.

Prophecy:Randy Orton has held the Intercontinental Championship for about 7 months now, and he will hold it for atleast one more month. I don't see Edge winning the title from Randy Orton. I also think that if Edge won, then the WWE would be passing up a great storyline. A great storyline would be for Randy Orton to win this and for Triple H to lose his match and then Randy Orton starts to get too full of himself and Triple H doesn't like it and Randy Orton leaves Evolution and the two go into a feud. I would like to see that.

Prophecy:there's no point in keeping orton holding the IC title any longer. there are rarely any contenders for the IC title. booker T and RVD are gone, Christian is injured, Y2J wont be getting a title any time soon, who knows where the hell shelton went, and edge... he needs to be holding some gold

Prophecy:This match has hardly been built up at all, so to make Randy lose the title like that would be pointless, if they want Randy to lose the title, which i think they should so he can go up the card, then at least stick him in a decent feud, not just say Edge is no1 contender, and then let Edge win, i think WWE should have given Shelton the belt last month, but they didnt, and i cant see Edge taking it here, and with Randy v Rock scheduled for SummerSlam, we all know Rock aint gonna win the title, so Randy is probably gonna have the belt till Unforgiven, when hopefully he will lose it and finally get the feud with HHH that everyone wants to see.
