Chris Benoit vs. MVP

Prophecy:Benoit won, as I predicted, on the big stage, now it's MVP's turn at Backlash. I agree that Benoit should be going for the major title fairly soon, which will hopefully end up happening. Benoit v Undertaker would rock.

Prophecy:i picked mvp at mania and he lost. mayb ill have better luck this time.

Prophecy:Mania was suppose to happen but Benoit is getting old and MVP will have his Mania glory days so this is an easy slip pass of the title. Benoit will continue to wrestle mid card and MVP will go BIG!

Prophecy:I think he'll hang on a little longer. I can't see what MVP will do with the Title.

Prophecy:I say put the big gold back on Benoit. He should win it off Kennedy.

Prophecy:I like many others thought that MVP would win the strap at Mania. However Benoit won there, and I highly doubt MVP doing the job at two ppvs in a row. MVP wins, and Benoit gets a new feud going with someone else.

Prophecy:MVP takes this one home for the blue brand. His match at Mania was very telling of how far he has come. I still think he should have won on April 1st. Then in their Smackdown re-match two weeks ago, Benoit won it back. That could have led to Backlash's final encounter between the two. I suppose as long as MVP walks out here as champ, it is good. We all love Benoit, but please do not pull a 'Chavo' and retain over and over.

He drops it here, and gets involved with the Raw scene, setting up a Benoit/Michaels match (since Chris was trained in the Dungeon after all, and it is T+10 years since Montreal) for the WWE belt in a slow burn angle that resolves at SurSer.

Prophecy:MVP finally wins the US title and elevates himself as a true star. While Benoit should be moved up to the main event or Raw. This should be a great match , glad they pu this on the card
