Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho

Prophecy:With Orton, a DQ is not out of the question, but he won't drop the belt here. Orton's last title reign was a short one, but I don't see WWE making the same mistake this time. He's one of the few young guys who puts together good matches and heated rivalries. Y2J will probably be champ again at some point, but it won't happen here. Two faces are battling for the next title shot at Royal Rumble which means the heel will retain.

Prophecy:Despite the fact that a Y2J win would make an awesome comeback story, I'm going with Randy to retain. I just don't see Orton's new regin being cut so short. The question is will he win clean or get DQ'ed. I say he picks up a clean win. Jericho dosen't seem to be to popular with the crowds since his return so I doubt his taking the belt.

Prophecy:One thing is for darn sure, they didn't bring back Jericho to lose his first PPV match. Then again it does seem to early for him to win the belt and we saw Orton escape losing the title via DQ not to long ago...hard choice, but with or without winning the title I think Jericho's hand will be raised at the end of this one.

Prophecy:Putting the title on Chris Jericho after he's been back on television for less then a month, would not set well with anybody in the locker room. Jericho's time will certainly come, but for now, Ortan retains.

Prophecy:It would be silly to give Jericho the title immediately. I don't even think he will win the title at all and it is a foil for someone else to win, no matter how likely it seems that Jericho should prevail. I don't expect a clean win from Orton however.

Prophecy:Orton will win after a chair shot or a groin shot and RKO combo.

Prophecy:The problem is there are no top faces on raw. HBK is working a light schedule. Hardy maybe more over than Jericho but his mic skills aren't there. So the only choice is Jericho. Maybe a title change at NYR. But Jericho will win here by DQ.

Prophecy:I see Jericho with the win but not leave with the title yet it will be most likely a dq

Prophecy:I'm gonna say Jericho by DQ. Here's another thing. Did anybody notice the real lack of a pop Jericho received on the 11/26 Raw? It's like they couldn't have cared less that he was gone forever and a day. Not a good sign just one week after your triumphant return.

Prophecy:by dq - Orton retains

Prophecy:Y2J is still getting used to be back and the fans that don't remember him need time to warm up to him. I would put him as a contender for the title later on in 08.

Prophecy:He'll drop the belt at Wrestlemania 24.

Prophecy:Expect a cheap victory.

Prophecy:Forget EVERYTHING I said before. The winner of the HHH/Hardy match will get a shot at the WWE Title at the Rumble. So Randy Orton vs HHH makes sense at the Rumble. I say Orton wins this match uncleanly with an RKO slapped on at the end to retain.

Prophecy:i love y2j and im hoping he grabs the belt here, but it wont happen...way too soon...i think this was part of his contract for him to return was to get this title shot...maybe he'll get a rematch at the royal rumble because its at msg and he loves wrestling there...but just too soon

Prophecy:Although DQ is a big possibilty which sets us up for the rematch. :)

Prophecy:i know theres got to be no way Jericho gets it, so i put Orton, but the more i think about it, the more the DQ makes sense, so i had to come back and change it

Prophecy:Finally, RAW is Jericho once again, and what timing as things have been looking down lately. On to the match, as much as I hate to say it, I can't see Jericho winning the title just yet. I'm going to tip him to win at the Royal Rumble (whether it's the Rumble itself or a title match on the night) but to give him the title right away would be far too premature. I see him getting the win but not the title.

Prophecy:I just think its a little too early for Y2J to win.
