Chris Jericho vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Prophecy:This is a tough one. It would be a shame to have Jericho lose again after making his high profile comeback. On the other hand, this is JBL's comeback match and with his backstage pull it's unlikely he'll start off with a loss. I'm going with JBL for now.

Prophecy:How long will JBL's return last? Who knows. Jericho hasn't done a very good job of saving us so far...so I say he needs a major win to build him up. What has he done yet? Not much.

Prophecy:This will drag on to Wrestlemania. I say JBL wins the opening match in the feud, with as cheap of a win as he can possibly get, just to say he gets a win in this should-be long feud.

Prophecy:Needs a clean PPV victory.

Prophecy:this is a match that can go either way...but i just see Y2J winning this because he hasn't won a match on ppv since his big return...granted its only been 1 ppv, but he needs a win to start the new year...i think this feud will continue so ill go with chris jericho to beat the also returning JBL
