Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes

Prophecy:Big Show doesn't need the Intercontinental Championship. Cody will find a way to win and prove his point that the Big Show chokes at Mania.

Prophecy:no way Big show getting the ic title maybe if it was not on the line

Prophecy:Ok. I'm confused. Big Show no less that two months ago was in serious world title contention. He even won it even if for a second. So then why is he even anywhere near the IC title picture? Admittedly, I haven't been following Smackdown lately so maybe this feud's worth will overshadow the nonsense that is Big Show competing for a lesser belt.

Prophecy:I agree with what you guys said but am thinking it from a different perspective I see Big Show winning here not if I want to see him win but that what i think wwe wants, it's good for show to put a young guy over but i feel is also a insult to what show is capable of doing by the way instead of show if it was Taker would you have still went with Cody too. I might be wrong with this one who knows .. but frankly that's what I think will happen ??

Prophecy:Rhodes wins here. Big Show remains defeated at WM.

Prophecy:Theres no reason for Big show to win the I.C title. Codys going to be the longest reining I.C champion and a duo champion with the World heavyweight title after he wins Money in the bank.

Prophecy:At Wrestlemania: Big Show 3-8, Cody Rhodes 1-2. Cody is eventually going to be in a world title picture, so part of me thinks may actually drop the title here so he can go after that, but does it make sense for 500 pound Big Show to be Intercontinental champion? The answer is no....but since when does WWE writing make sense? I am going with Big Show, even if the title doesn't end up changing just so he can slightly improve his horrible Wrestlemania record.

Prophecy:My point: First: Show needs to restart, and the great way to do that is to win the I.C Champ. Second: It's time Cody went on a bigger picture as a World Heavyweight Champion.

Prophecy:With all this talk of Big Show choking at 'Mania you'd think they'd let him win, just like they did with Henry who 'never won the big one.' But him going over Rhodes would be stupid.

Prophecy:This feud came out of nowhere - hard to believe several months ago Big Show was competing for the World Title. I think Cody will find a way to win although a Big Show victory wouldn't surprise me either.

Prophecy:Something to remember here is that a win for the Big Show would make him both a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion. Just before JBL left the WWE for the second time, he worked with both management and writing staff to develop an angle (albeit a rather silly one) that would allow him to win the IC strap and subsequently become both a Grand Slam and Triple Crown champion. Big Show has always been in favour with people at the top, so maybe they're handing him the title to preserve his well deserved legacy amongst the WWE greats (particularly those of the last ten years).

Prophecy:Rhodes is nowhere near big enough to hold two belts. Dropping the title to Show so that it can transition to another heel smoothly and so that Rhodes can move on to challenging for one of the big belts is a smart move on the part of the writers.

Prophecy:I never thought I'd see Show get his opportunity to become a Grand Slam Champion. I'm sure that the WWE will now find a way to bestow the same honour upon both 'Taker and Mark Henry at some point in the future. I have no doubt that Show will win and claim his place in WWE and professional wrestling history.

Prophecy:rhodes gets his second big wrestlemania win in consecutive years... probably the best used legacy member right now

Prophecy:I really think its about time the WWE started to push the mid carders otherwise in a few year the main event picture will be ruined
