Prophecy:Benoit has won too many times in a row and the rivalry between the two has been way too long so they need to build a brand new rivalry and what better way to do so than to have someone challange HHH for the championship.

Prophecy:they need to make something out of edge and people are getting annoyed of randy being champ so the best they can do is at least throw edge the ic title.
