Prophecy:Actually seems like a bit of a toss-up here.

Prophecy:The ECW originals will be buried here. I love all of the Originals, but look at it from Vince's perspective: on the ECW Original's team, you got a guy who wants to leave and probably will (RVD), a guy who keeps pissing off management because he doesn't even care if he gets fired (Sabu), a 43 year-old alcoholic who looks like a homeless heroin addict (Sandman), and a guy who was a total jobber for almost all of his earlier WWE career and who's ECW gimmick is centered around losing big matches and being oppressed (Dreamer). And on the other side, you have four guys who represent the future to both Vince's on-screen character and to Vince in real life. He is going to squeeze every last drop out of the old ECW to try and make it into his own personal vision.

Prophecy:She doesn't deserve it though. I'm guessing she moves to Raw, but even if she doesn't, she can defend the title against Jillian Hall at least until the next interbrand PPV. And since all PPVs will now be interbrand, that won't be very long. Also, considering that Melina supposedly is actually in danger of losing her job if she doesn't put on a good match here (supposedly it's partly her attitude, and partly because she doesn't protect her opponents physically very well), I can't see them keeping the title on her. Say, remember the days when if one of the WWE's "Divas" was going to be in Playboy, it only happened _after_ they became popular with the crowd first so there was no need to try and ram her down everyone's throats?

Prophecy:I don't think whatever political forces that have smacked Punk down in the past are going to disipate just like that. When push comes to shove Punk is not winning this. Lashley looks to have a hold on the ECW title indefinitely and either Punk would have to turn heel or Lashley would have to lose the belt to someone for Punk to even be put in a title match. Meanwhile if the Undertaker wins, he is going to need heel opponents to face, and Smackdown has a serious lack of depth when it comes to main-event heels.

Prophecy:I don't really watch Smackdown, so I will trust the consensus here. It'll suck if Benoit loses to this chump though.

Prophecy:I am changing my pick to Khali based on the fact that Kane might be getting surgery on his knee shortly after 'Mania. Traditionally people taking leave for surgery will put someone over on the way out as having "injured" them, and I am guessing that Khali is going to go over as a monster here, even if he is nearly immobile in the ring. With regards to Khali's ringwork, "mediocre" is honestly giving Khali too much credit. However, human freakshows are a longstanding wrestling tradition, and for every Andre the Giant (early 80s and earlier) or Big Show who could actually wrestle, there has been at least as many Haystacks Calhouns or Giant Gonzalezes who could look really scary and menacing (or just bizarre in Haystack's case) but do little else. So he's hardly unprecedented.
