Prophecies of President D

Prophecy:I can't do it. I just can't bet against Taker at this stage in his career at Mania. There are several things to look at here. Taker is an unprecedented 14-0 at Wrestlemania. Batista just won the World title at Survivor Series last November. The winner of the Rumble for the past 5 years has won at Wrestlemania. These facts will play a big part in the outcome of this match. The one that matters most is Taker's undefeated streak. This match will be historic, and I have a feeling it will end with Taker as new World Heavyweight Champion.

Prophecy:I realize I've picked both veterans to win the titles. Don't get me wrong, I like Cena as champion, but something tells me this will be WWE's way of giving the veterans another run at the top. This match will be off the chain in my view, and I expect it to end with HBK emerging as champion once more. I have mixed feelings now since HBK got the last word on RAW. This is without a doubt the toughest prediction of the night. Cena will have more title reigns in his future, whereas HBK's last title reign was a month long in late 2002. After weighing the options, I'm sticking with HBK. He could use a reign on top, and a loss here really wouldn't hurt Cena. Plus, the inevitable rematch at Backlash between these two is very obvious.

Prophecy:There's no way Edge will win this match twice. CM Punk will be champion some day, but not just yet. Booker has had his run on top, and I don't think any of us are ready for another "King of the World" reign. The Hardys have a decent chance, but I don't see either of them winning for some reason. Finlay? Enough said. The two who have the best shot in my opinion are Orton and Kennedy. Orton seems to be headed to a singles feud with Edge, whereas Kennedy has the best story to go with saying that he has defeated 7 world champions. So for now he seems to be the frontrunner leading in to Mania.

Prophecy:There is no way the Donald is going to lose his hair here at Wrestlemania. The feud so far has been very entertaining, and judging by the brawl that went down on RAW, I have a feeling this match will be just the same. With Stone Cold filling out the referee spot, someone (more than likely Vince) will be getting stunned. Trump will then seal the deal by shaving Vince's head, and probably enjoying a beer bash with Austin.

Prophecy:Just like the Benoit-MVP match, it pains me to make this prediction. I really, really want the Originals to win this, but something tells me that the New Breed will take the win. ECW is not one of Vince's high prioritys, and since some of the Originals (Sandman and Sabu mostly) have major heat with Vince, I don't see them winning. Hopefully, I'm wrong on this.

Prophecy:I've gotta go with Ashley. True, Wrestlemania hasn't been nice to their covergirls in the past (Christy at WM 21, Candice at WM 22), but I have a feeling the reason why Mickie dropped the title was to have Ashley win it here.

Prophecy:I actually am intrigued by this match. A stipulation would REALLY help though. No stipulation, and I see this turning out to be Goldberg vs Lesnar part two. As for the winner, Khali has been dominating everything in his path since his feud with Taker ended. Kane hasn't gotten that much of a push, so hopefully he'll get a big win here over an even bigger opponent.

Prophecy:Making this prediction makes me want to throw up. As much as Benoit deserves to retain (he dropped the same title to JBL at Mania 22 last year), the rumors of him going to RAW after Wrestlemania seem to be very true, and I don't see him carrying the U.S. title over to Monday nights. Plus, MVP has been getting a very decent push, and he'll more than likely win the strap here.
