The Royal Rumble Match

Prophecy:As usual, this match is all about setting up one of the main matches on the WrestleMania card. Of the current entrants, only Batista and CM Punk have the clout to be in a big match like that. Who wins here really depends on who is slated to be champion going into Mania (most likely Orton, Cena, or Daniel Bryan). Right now, I can see Batista vs Orton or Cena. But Punk vs Bryan is another intriguing match-up.

Prophecy:Daniel Bryan should be winning this. Having Batista win is a waste.

Prophecy:This has been my prediction for months and I'm sticking with it...Triple H vs. Punk is a good possibility for Wrestlemania, but I'm going to stick with my original instinct

Prophecy:This Rumble looks like a yawn obviously Batista is going to win and likely face Orton for the title at Wrestlemania

Prophecy:Batista will come in at #30 and eliminate 5 guys at once. It'll be down to Batista and Bryan or CM Punk, but Batista will win and challenge for the title at Wrestlemania.

Prophecy:The viper versus the animal at wm 30 or the animal versus lesnar at wm 30

Prophecy:think punk going to win

Prophecy:Alright. I changed my mind. It feels like they are building it up for Batista to win the Rumble, but I think they' more likely want CM Punk to be the victor here. It has been a while for a number one entree to win the Rumble ever since '04. As for Roman Reigns, I think this Royal Rumble will eventually turn him face and split away from The Shield. And for Batista, personally, I did not like his return at all; I think WWE is having other plans with the animal.

Prophecy:Batista or CM Punk seem to be the only two "safe" choices. Neither are very compelling honestly. The more I think about it the more I could see a big return (Sheamus) surprising us all and taking it.

Prophecy:The only winner that is logical right now is Batista. If CM Punk from #1 wins it, it will be a joke. #1 is tied with #30 in Royal Rumble wins. What logic is that? If Batista doesn't win, it might only be the members of the Shield, ADR, Big E Langston, or a surprise/unannounced entrant. Overall, I give Batista a 50% chance, Punk 25%, others 25%. I'm just glad that Batista returned, I marked out last night.

Prophecy:What the hell, I'll go for Daniel Bryan. YES YES YES

Prophecy:A toss up due to 30 men in the rumble.

Prophecy:look at the stats... if a Former World Champion is brought back before the rumble ( Chris Jericho) they don't win the rumble. there fore Batista is not a good pic.. A returning surprise Former World Champ comes in... They Win ( Shawn Micheals, Cena, Edge).. I put my money on CM punk, Bryan, or Sheamus...

Prophecy:Daniel Bryan wins

Prophecy:Storyline. That's what I'm counting as the factor for my pick. Batista does have one, returning and immediately coming face to face with Orton. However, Punk is having odds shoved down his throat at every single turn, and it seems to me that tilts the scales in his favor. I can see Punk winning here, after having the Authority throw every curveball they have at him and overcoming the odds. A dream scenario would be for Cena to turn heel and align with HHH and company and face Punk at Mania for the title. Modern day Stone Cold vs Rock. Who knows though. This is the WWE, and the above will more than likely not happen, but hey, ya never know.

Prophecy:As much as I want Punk to win, this man's return ruins the whole thing. There aren't two championships anymore, Punk should be in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but he won't because of "business." Most likely, WWE offered Batista the contract that guranteed him the WM main event, and it's a damn shame.

Prophecy:Its a tough choice between Batista and Punk, but it looks like Punks getting into a feud with the authority possibly leading to a match with HHH a mania ... so I guess Orton vs Batista at wm it is!

Prophecy:It's down to three people who can win it: Batista, Punk, or Daniel Bryan.

Prophecy:This is Punk's pay off for a lengthy feud against The Shield, I'm going out on a limb here because the tease from Monday Night RAW was that The Authority don't give Punk a chance in hell of winning after they threw him in at number one. Statistically, it sounds like an against the odds victory. Punk v Triple H at Wrestlemania.

Prophecy:Batista and Punk are the safe bets. Gonna take a risk because I feel that CM Punk is due a match with Triple H at Wrestlemania (That he will win). Batista winning would feel too obvious, and dunno why the WWE would want to give him a main event at WM in his first "match" back-- he hasn't been tested. Could be a double elimination with Del Rio, setting up a match between them later. Of the heels Roman Reigns and BNB has a chance. Gonna take my chances with a surprise entry, including those already in other booked matches who might take part. I expect Sheamus to return, but doubt he'll win. Who knows? Still hoping Punk takes this one.
