John Cena vs. Randy Orton

Prophecy:Someone has to beat Cena, and with Orton's recent push and HHH coming back, Orton is a likely candidate. Incidentally, he's been a candidate for years but he keeps screwing things up for himself backstage. However, he's been way too dominant over Cena going into this event. That and Cena's streak lead me to believe that Cena will retain this time, and the feud will continue.

Prophecy:Orton has continously had the advantage, which can only mean that Cena wins.

Prophecy:Orton has the push, the drive and the potential to become the next WWE Champion. Somebody has to beat Cena sometime, and I think Orton will be the man to do it.

Prophecy:It has to be orton to beat cena. ortons had some good matches at summerslam in the past and in 2004 he won the world heavyweight championship so im almost certain that orton will become champ once again then feud with triple H. But nowwww im all confused im finking bout changing my prediction cas of the past few weeks have been like this. cena wins he gets Rko orton new no.1 contender, next week cena in cabana main even gets distracted loses to carlito gets spit in the face. And on the last raw Cena wins beats snitskey Rko by orton. AT first i was sure orton would win but after all that dominance it looks like john cenA is guna keep on winning ;( but im still going 4 ortons destiny 2 be the next wwe champ.

Prophecy:Like many others have said, Orton has certainly had the upper hand over Cena so far, which doesn't bode well for his chances at Summerslam. Orton has hit numerous RKOs on the champ and the typical closing shot on RAW of Cena lying injured on the canvas sets up another "against the odds" win next week. HHH will need a little time before he slots in to the title picture, so this feud could afford to go another month. Orton wins at Unforgiven.

Prophecy:I really believed Orton would win, but it does look like Cena will retain after all. The two RKOs can pretty much only mean that Cena will beat the odds once again. Bullshit.

Prophecy:Didn't he win his first title against Benoit at Summer Slam?

Prophecy:Don't get me wrong, John Cena is one of my favorite wrestlers. Randy Ortan is also one of my least favorite. But it will be nice to see the title on somebody else's waist. John Cena seems like he is unbeatable when it comes to the title. Fourty years ago, wrestling could keep a title on someone for 10,170 days (as they did with Fabulous Moolah), but these days, fans get bored if anyone has the title more than 3 months. Take a look at Gregory Helms, Londrick, the current WWE Tag Team Champions, Deuce N' Domino. They all have/had ridiculously long reigns. It comes to a point where fans are begging the WWE to mix it up a little and hand the title to somebody that can handle it. Randy Ortan can handle the title. I think that he will be the one to take the title from Cena. And if not at this PPV, then definetaly the next one.

Prophecy:Orton's on fire at the moment; he's Raw's top heel and the best person to take Cena's title. The way they've made Orton this vicious guy who gives people concussions is great; its gotten him real heel heat. Personally I think on the first Raw after TGAB he should have RKO'd Candice as well as Cena to make the crowd really hate him. Despite reports backstage that Triple H wants Orton to win the title so a heel can have it when HHH takes it back, I'm going to say that Cena retains in this match and loses it at Unforgiven- making it a one year title reign.

Prophecy:finally Randy Orton can be wwe champions he gonna win his second major title at the same place he first won it summer slam i hope randy orton win this match because i can stand cena he held the title basically 2 and half years

Prophecy:orton will take his title and keep it til hhh beats him!

Prophecy:Honestly, Cena needs to stop. Just STOP. This invincibility crap is the same thing that made Hogan unpopular in the early 90s. Not only that, but with all the faces returning, the heels will need to have the titles.

Prophecy:Orton needs this push to be completed. I know that this is some kind of streak but it needs to be broken at some point. This way if Orton becomes champ that way HHH could fued with Orton while HHH can win as face then turn and fued with Cena as a heel.

Prophecy:Orton a Cena vs Orton rivalry has been building up for months and it's time for Cena to drop the title so i'm going with Orton

Prophecy:tocc is right about 1 thing,HHH!hell return at summerslam and mess orton up and cena will win and will beat cena in the future maybe summerslam or unforgiven

Prophecy:Unfortuantly, im starting to have some doubt whether Orton will win. They are scheduled to have a feud throughout the Fall, so i dont know if they'll have Orton win it at Unforgiven, or here, and I also heard that going into Unforgiven, Cena is scheduled as the champ, but im still gonna go with my instict, and say Orton wins it here.

Prophecy:That was a great WWE Championship match @ the Great American Bash, but Bobby Lashley should have won and turned heel in the process, Randy Orton is the only one left, Randy Orton is my favorite Wrestler right now and the top heel, I love his tactics and his Mic skills and the fact that he is now "The Legend Destroyer", I loved how he ended the careers of those Legends, Randy Orton's Sumerslam record should have still be undefeated @ Summerslam because that Old Ass Hogan cheated and robbed him last year, They got the WWE Championship call wrong @ Crapslam 2006 by having just Edge vs. John Cena when it should have been Edge vs. John Cena vs. Umaga at least, and last year's turned out to be the biggest failure in Summerslam history, but they more than made up for their mistake as they got the call right this time, Randy Orton is the correct one to choose and there were no errors this time, Randy Orton is also way long overdue for a long title run & takes the WWE Championship @ Summerslam!
