Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

Prophecy:I don't see Rey joining the society any time soon, so I expect him to be getting the win here. These two had a great match at Armageddon 08, and if this match is anything like that, look for this to be awesome. Punk and Rey have put on a good feud given that they haven't had much to work with, and the intensity between the two should make for a great match.

Prophecy:He has better heat and this storyline could go well if they continue it. It would be retarded not to go in that direction, and who says Mysterio will actually "join" straight edge? WWE has a way of making it sound like something's gonna happen when it doesn't.

Prophecy:this is pointless, they both should be added to mitb.

Prophecy:Nobody likes Chippy.

Prophecy:Rey Mysterio in Straight Edge Society... maybe THIS would allow me to have some interest at what he does. That feud really made me like CM Punk, with such great comments as "Since it is your ninth birthday, as a present, I will allow you to cover your eyes while I beat down your father..."

Prophecy:This stipulation would've been so much better if Punk was challenging someone who had a view that completely opposed the Straight Edge Society, but come on... Rey is one of the biggest family guys in the business. He'll follow them around for a while and it'll get boring so Mysterio will get back a solo spotlight rather quickly

Prophecy:Proving that the Straight Edge gimmick has legs even when you're not facing a drug addict, Punk has regained his position as one of the hottest heels in wrestling. And as much fun as it would be to watch Punk order Rey around (kind of like when JBL owned Shawn Michaels , but people actually are okay with watching it), I think the line Punk crossed by going after Rey's family has to be addressed here.

Prophecy:Rey's not joining the straight edge society.

Prophecy:Rey Mysterio will not join the Straight Edge Society at all. CM Punk will have to find someone else for that. Rey is one of the biggest faces in WWE and biggest cash cows for them so for him to basically turn heel here and join Punk wouldn't make much sense.

Prophecy:I was going to take Mysterio up until the point where the "Mysterio joins the SES if he loses" stip was added. I'm going to take the upset here and say Mysterio loses. It would make for interesting viewing in the next few months, Mysterio being the reluctant face member of a heel group - similar to HBK joining forces with JBL last year. Punk eventually gets his revenge in afew months' time by turning on his group and regaining his freedom.

Prophecy:After losing the smackdown stipulation he has to win here

Prophecy:I'm not sure. If they intend to continue this feud, Rey may join SES temporarily. Either way, Punk needs the win more.
