Prophecies of The Tocc

Prophecy:If HHH is going to eclipse Flair's 16 time title reign total he'll have to win sooner or later; however, it could always happen at the inevitable rematch at Backlash. A face has won the main event at every WrestleMania but two, so that gives Cena the nod here.

Prophecy:The rumor for a while has been that Orton will win, but the winner of the Rumble has emerged as champion for the past five years. One thing is clear to me. Angle will not be the one pinned or made to submit. To save face and status, he will lose his title in the same way he lost both of his belts at WrestleMania 2000. It's between Orton and Rey. I can see Orton winning just so he can hand the title back to Batista when big Dave comes back, but for some reason I see Rey carrying on Eddie's legacy with a *short* title reign first.

Prophecy:As I expected they've turned this into a six man affair. The winner here will not only win the opportunity for a title shot but will be poised to actually hold the title within the next year at the main event level. The same thing happened to Edge. Since there's no Carlito in this match, it's really between RVD, Lashley, and maybe Shelton. I'm still not sure.

Prophecy:Foley is good for 3 things: 1) insane highlight reel ring stunts, 2) corny and cheap gags outside the ring, and 3) giving a final push to heels on their way to the top. Hell in a Cell matches with HHH and Orton pushed both of them into permanent upper-card status. Now he'll try to do the same for Edge. Edge will bleed a lot before taking this one in an attempt to earn some much needed clout.

Prophecy:I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict a Brett Hart appearance in this match. We know he'll be in Chicago for the Hall of Fame induction, so it's not too far fetched. It would be the perfect end to this feud, which started over comments HBK made to Vince about "letting go" of the Brett Hart situation, coincidentally around the time Brett and the WWE started talking and cooperating. I expect a repeat of Saturday Night's Main Event with HBK battling both Vince and Shane. At the very end, when it seems they've finally screwed Shawn over for good, Brett Hart appears to even the odds. HBK nails a superkick and picks up the win. HBK has taken plenty of abuse. He's earned the win here.

Prophecy:Obviously Benoit is the better of the two wrestlers here, but it doesn't really matter which one of these guys is holding this lesser belt. I think former heavyweight champions only hold it to tide them over and shut them up in the behind-the-scenes meetings. Since I've got too many faces winning other matches I'll go with JBL. Plus it seems like he's been getting a ton of TV time and Benoit has been largely ignored.

Prophecy:Since Big Show and Kane haven't done much with these titles I suppose they'll drop them here. Giving Carlito and Masters the titles will force them to cooperate some more, leading to more opportunities for Carlito to doublecross Masters until they eventually lose their titles and feud with each other.

Prophecy:Taker's 13 year streak will not be broken. He has never lost at Wrestlemania and he never will. They'd better get a HUGE casket.

Prophecy:The Boogieman is on a roll. Somehow I doubt he'll suffer his first loss at WrestleMania.

Prophecy:Personally I think this storyline was pretty well written, and now it is finally time for the feud. I can see this match going either way, but it's a bit more likely that Mickie will win. Trish has held that title for a very long time, so its totally conceivable that she'll drop it here. Plus, I don't have the exact stats, but I believe WrestleMania is notorious for title changes.

Prophecy:Torrie has vengeance on her side, but with the push Candice is getting, I'm surprised she's not already holding the Women's Championship. However, this match isn't about the winner. It's about getting the covergirls into lingerie. The end could go either way, but I'm going with Candice.
