Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels

Prophecy:Maybe HBK really is looking to retire and wants one more run with the title. If that's the plan, the fact that Jericho won the title out of nowhere at Unforgiven would make perfect sense. This feud is old now, so if a title change is going to happen, it should happen here so they can move on.

Prophecy:I want hbk to win this match & be a champion one more time becuz he deserves the title more than anybody else but seriously jericho will walk out the winner that night becuz i dont think he gonna lose that title that much soon, may be gonna lose at s series or armageddon.

Prophecy:It doesnt make sense for Michaels to win this match because he doesn't have beef with the two possible contenders. JBL and Jericho have had their disagreements in the past and Batista was robbed of the title by Jericho so it sorta fits more for Jericho to win this one. It also doesn't make the title look good if the guy who won it at the last ppv loses it straightaway.

Prophecy:First off, glad to see the WWE finally put a world title back on Jericho. Secondly, this should be a great match. And Finally, why would the WWE have Jericho drop the ttle this quickly? Y2J retains.

Prophecy:It's hard to say because Lance Cade can play a factor in it. If HBK becomes champ, he can very well face Batista since they have history.

Prophecy:i hate to say it but i think he will. he will win because he just won the title and i don't see him losing it. Iwould really like to see micheals win it though.

Prophecy:As is the case with most champions right now in WWE, they have too much going for them just to drop the title now, and at such a lesser PPV like No Mercy to boot. I don't know, I just don't see what giving Michaels the belt will do for him. Jericho needs that.

Prophecy:Going with Jericho to retain for now..not sure of this pick at all though.

Prophecy:Call me crazy but I really think Shawn might win this. Tocc's theory makes the most sense, and being that this is a ladder match, Shawn really has a good chance of beating Jericho. I'll go with my heart for the moment and pick HBK in what should be a classic match.

Prophecy:I am calling Orton interference here or in the Batista/JBL matchup. I don't know yet...Will have a better idea in the coming weeks.

Prophecy:MOTY candidate and should be a classic, but Y2J just got the title, so it should be predictable who wins.
